Essentia Health-Fargo is seeking a motivated Athletic Trainer, Licensed Practical Nurse, or Certified Medical Assistant to join our rapidly growing and fast paced orthopedic clinic. With multiple opportunities for professional growth and development, the orthopedic clinic is a great place to enhance your practice and serve our community to the fullest! Schedule is from 8 am to clinic close (usually between 5 and 6 pm), 40 hours per week, with no weekend, holiday, or on-call expectations. Athletic Trainers have additional opportunity to pick up hours to support our contracted schools and their sporting events. Candidates of all experience levels are encouraged to apply.

LPN or Medical Assistant ($21.49-$32.24 based on experience):

Assists RN, Physician and other providers and provides direct patient care in the ambulatory care setting to contribute to meeting the mission and goals of Essentia Health. Will perform identified procedures for which competencies have been demonstrated. Cares for patients ranging in age from newborn to elderly as noted on age-related category.

Athletic Trainer ($25.69-$38.54 based on experience):

The Athletic Trainer provides services to patients ranging from adolescents to geriatrics in an ambulatory setting to contribute to meeting the mission and goals of Essentia Health. Provides patient care activities under the direct supervision of a physician including; evaluation and assessment, education, treatment and consultation services and related patient care services. Will perform identified procedures for which competencies have been demonstrated.

Licensure/Certification Qualifications:

• LPN: Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the state of North Dakota.
• LPN: Minnesota LPN license within 3 months of hire.
• CMA: current registration or certification as a Medical Assistant OR verifiable completion of a Medical Assistant Program and must become certified within one year of date of hire. Must pass certification within two attempts.
• CMA: Must be registered as a Medication Assistant III through the North Dakota Board of Nursing within 60 days of hire/transfer. Clinical Assistant can NOT administer medication prior to being registered as a MAIII through the ND BON.
• LPN/CMA: Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification within 3 months of hire.
• Athletic Trainer: NATA board certification (BOC).
• Athletic Trainer: North Dakota Athletic Trainer Associate certification (NDATA).

• Athletic Trainer: CPR certification.
