Job Description

Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Bobcat and Sit-Down Forklift Operator to join our recycling center team. This role requires strong equipment-handling skills, the ability to work safely in tight and narrow spaces, and previous outdoor/yard-work experience in a similar environment. The ideal candidate is reliable, safety-focused, and comfortable working in a fast-paced recycling facility.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate Bobcat and sit-down forklift equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maneuver equipment in narrow and confined areas throughout the yard.
• Load, move, and organize recyclable materials as directed.
• Assist with general yard operations, including outdoor work in all weather conditions.
• Follow all safety procedures and maintain clean, organized work areas.
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
• Perform additional tasks as needed to support daily operations.

Requirements:

• 2–3 years of experience operating Bobcat.
• 2–3 years of experience operating a sit-down forklift (certified).
• Ability to drive safely in narrow and tight spaces.
• Previous outdoor or recycling center experience required.
• Bilingual (English & Spanish)required.
• Ability to work 45 hours per week , with mandatory Saturdays.
• Strong communication skills, reliability, and attention to safety.
• Ability to work in a physically demanding, outdoor environment.
• Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.
• Must be able to pass a background and drug test.

Language :

• Spanish (Required).
• English (Required).

Payrate :

• $20-$25 hourly (depends on experience).
• Bi-weekly pay schedule.
