Our innovative model is designed to promote sustainability and advancement among its partner agencies by streamlining operations and eliminating redundancies resulting in improvements to the delivery of direct service operations. The Campus Safety Officer plays a vital role in maintaining a secure and welcoming environment at various agencies. This position involves regular patrolsboth on foot and by vehicleto ensure the safety and well-being of students, faculty, staff, and visitors. Officers monitor suspicious activities, enforce campus policies, respond to emergencies, and assist individuals in need. Effective communication, situational awareness, and commitment to community engagement are essential./ppResponsibilities include:/pulliConduct proactive patrols to deter and detect potential threats or hazards./liliRespond swiftly to incidents and coordinate with local law enforcement when necessary./liliAid during medical emergencies and evacuations./liliOffer directions and support to campus community members./liliDocument incidents and maintain detailed reports./liliServe as a visible presence to promote safety and build trust across campus./liliAssist the Safety Security department in special projects and monitoring./liliAttend scheduled staff meetings, supervision, and on-going training./liliMaintain current, all required training courses, certifications and licensures in accordance with applicable licensing and accreditation regulations and standards./liliRespect the privacy of clients and hold in confidence all information obtained during the clients treatment. All agency documents should be handled in accordance with Agency guidelines on confidential material./liliMaintain high standards of ethical and professional conduct and adhere to Agency policies and procedures./liliOther duties as assigned by management./li/ulpQualifications:/pulliMinimum high school diploma required. Associates degree preferred./li/ulpExperience:/pulli3-4 years of experience preferred in security and/or law enforcement./li/ulpSalary and benefits: The salary for this position is $17 per hour.
