Supports York County's business recruitment, expansion, and retention efforts through project management, research, marketing, and outreach. Plays a key role in responding to Requests for Information (RFIs), coordinating site visits, managing real estate and demographic databases, conducting trend research, and supporting marketing and lead generation efforts. Also provides coordination and oversight for Economic Development programs, supervises staff, and serves as a County liaison at regional and state events to promote economic growth.
Responds to Requests for Information (RFIs) from site selection consultants, real estate professionals, businesses, and economic development partners by compiling relevant data, community narratives, and site details in a timely, professional manner. Coordinates and hosts site visits for business prospects, acting as a facilitator and lead point of contact during the tour process. Manages commercial real estate and demographic databases such as CoStar, Virginia Scan, and internal property listings. Regularly updates and maintains accurate data on available sites and buildings. Maintains records in CRM tools, tracking projects, prospects, follow-ups, and leads to ensure continuity of service and accurate reporting. Conducts research and monitors economic trends in workforce, industry, and real estate to support strategic planning, business outreach, and marketing.
