Job Description

Summary

Hybrid; based in Providence, RI. The HRIS Analyst serves as the HRIS operational expert, providing consultative and analytical services to optimize the utilization of HR systems with a focus on core HR practices. The analyst collaborates with leaders and other stakeholders to define and enhance internal processes, while partnering with the IS team to implement system solutions. The HRIS Analyst will play a key role during our ongoing implementation and long?term support of the system.

Responsibilities


  • Serve as cross?functional project support and general subject?matter expert for system enhancements and process improvement initiatives.
  • Work closely with SMEs, HRIS team members and stakeholders across the organization to develop proposals and project plans.
  • Provide production support, including researching, troubleshooting, and resolving HRIS problems and performing scheduled activities.
  • Escalate complex issues to Sr. HRIS Analyst or the HRIS Manager as needed.
  • Identify opportunities to improve the user experience utilizing workflows and configurations.
  • Perform a thorough analysis of proposed changes, assess impact on other workstreams, and communicate results to the team, following through until closure.
  • Maintain the integrity of system data by monitoring, adhering to, and enhancing data governance and business processes.
  • Collaborate with the Human Resources Solution Center (HRSC) and other stakeholders to identify process efficiencies and auditing needs.
  • Provide input about security roles based on business needs, perform testing, and maintain related documentation.
  • Collect, understand, and translate business needs for system implementation.
  • Submit corresponding change requests as needed.
  • Configure and/or test system to confirm business requirements, prepare testing plan and test scenarios, and assist with training efforts for end users.
  • Create and maintain documentation of system configuration as needed.
  • Maintain working knowledge of interfaces and assist in determining interface specifications.
  • Support HR reporting needs, including gathering requirements, submitting report requests, writing reports, and monitoring report development progress.
  • Participate in the planning, coordination, and execution of regular system release updates, including the creation and/or updating of test scripts.
  • Perform mass data uploads as needed to meet customer needs and requirements.
  • Maintain Case Management / Knowledgebase tool, including adding/removing users, categories/subcategories and document management database.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.


Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree required.
  • Minimum of two years of HRIS or related experience required.
  • Experience with Workday HCM or similar SaaS platform implementation preferred.
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem?solving skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, SharePoint and MS Teams.



Pay Range

$69,732.94$115,039.29
