\n\nTravel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

\n\nJob Details:
\n• Work in a 27-bed emergency department with 50 RN staff and 25 medics
\n• Handle patient ratios of 4-6:1 throughout shifts
\n• Day shift: 1 charge nurse, 5 RNs, 2-3 medics with additional staffing increases at 11am (4-5 RNs) and 3pm (1-2 RNs)
\n• Night shift: 1 charge nurse, 5 RNs, 2-3 medics
\n• Weekend requirement: four weekend shifts (Friday or Saturday for nights; Saturday or Sunday for days) in a four-week scheduling period
\n• No on-call responsibilities or floating to other units
\n• Must have completed 2-3 travel assignments and possess 2-3 years of ER experience
\n• Experience with high acuity, fast-paced ERs with high volume preferred
\n• Experience with patient ratios of 5:1 preferred
\n• Perform typical ER procedures including RSI, sepsis interventions, stroke protocol with tPA administration, central line placement, psych patient care, and transfers to other facilities (EMTALA)
\n• Use Meditech EMR system
\n• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC
\n• Preferred certifications: ENPC, NRP, NIH
\n• Dress code: navy blue or white scrubs required
\n• Must demonstrate relaxed, easy-going, friendly, team-oriented, and respectful personality traits
