Housekeeper

Join our team as a Housekeeper at Mystic Healthcare , a 100-bed, family-owned skilled nursing facility in Mystic, CT! We specialize in short-term rehabilitation and long-term care, and we're dedicated to maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our residents, staff, and visitors. As a Housekeeper, you'll perform routine cleaning of resident living and recreational areas, coordinate daily housekeeping services with nursing staff, and help ensure that all spaces meet our high standards of comfort and care.

Housekeeper Duties

• Follow established cleaning schedules and safety procedures
• Maintain assigned areas in a clean, safe, and attractive condition
• Clean floors, windows, mirrors, walls, and ceilings as assigned
• Vacuum, deodorize, and disinfect carpets and surfaces
• Handle cleaning supplies and disinfectants safely and according to policy
• Remove dirt, dust, and debris using proper cleaning solutions
• Report any accidents, damage, or unsafe conditions to your supervisor
• Perform day-to-day housekeeping tasks as assigned

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
• Ability to lift, push, pull, and move up to 40 pounds
• Comfortable working around cleaning products and equipment
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
