Yardi Specialist

Yardi Systems Specialist manages and optimizes the Yardi property management software, acting as a bridge between business needs (leasing, accounting, maintenance) and technology, involving system configuration, user support, training, troubleshooting, report generation, and data migration, requiring strong technical, analytical, and communication skills for real estate operations. This role will serve as the internal systems expert, ensuring smooth operations, user support, and strategic alignment of platforms with business objectives.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with Yardi and will be comfortable navigating integrated tools and plug-ins, and is passionate about using technology to drive operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• System Configuration & Support: Customize and maintain Yardi modules (Voyager, Elevate, etc.) for the internal Yardi System.
• User Training: Provide hands-on training and coaching to onsite staff, including new hire onboarding, refresher training and one-on-one support tailored to varying levels of Yardi experience.
• Technical Troubleshooting: Serve as the primary point of contact for Yardi system support for onsite property teams, responding to questions and resolving issues related to daily property management operations.
• Reporting & Data: Create custom reports, manage data migration, and ensure data integrity, often involving ETL processes.

• Manage setup and ongoing support for Yardi Commercial Café, including resident/tenant portals, service requests, online payments, and communications tools.
• Partner with property operations, accounting and leadership to translate operational needs into system solutions that support consistent scalable processes.
• Troubleshoot technical issues, provide user support, and ensure data integrity within Yardi.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of hands-on experience supporting Yardi in a multifamily property management environment
•  
• Strong problem-solving, organizational, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Demonstrated experience supporting or working with onsite property teams to solve day-to-day Yardi issues.
• Strong working knowledge of multifamily workflows in Yardi, including leasing, resident accounts, rent posting, move-ins/move-outs, charges, adjustments and reporting.
• Effective verbal and written skills for training and stakeholder engagement.
• Understanding of real estate operations, accounting, and property management principles preferred
• Yardi certifications preferred.

·         Dallas, TX (preferred); remote candidates within the US will also be considered.
